Guidance on finding and listing properties

How do I search for properties on property.net?+
Use the search bar on the homepage to enter a location, city, or country. You can refine your results using filters for property type, price range, number of bedrooms, and more. Each listing page shows full property details including photos, pricing, and agent contact information.
Can I save properties I am interested in?+
Yes. Once you create an account and log in, you can save listings to your favourites for easy access later. You will also be able to set up alerts so you are notified when new properties matching your criteria become available.
How do I contact an agent about a listing?+
Every listing includes the agent's contact details. You can reach out to the agent directly by email or phone, both of which are shown on the listing page and the agent's profile. Some agents also accept enquiries through their agency website.
Is property.net free for buyers and tenants?+
Absolutely. Searching for properties, viewing listings, and contacting agents on property.net is entirely free for buyers and tenants. There are no hidden fees or registration requirements to browse our listings.

Renting

Information on rental listings and tenant resources

How do I filter for rental properties only?+
On the search results page, use the listing type filter to select "For Rent". This will display only rental properties in your chosen area. You can further refine results by price range, number of bedrooms, and property type.
Are rental prices shown per week or per month?+
Rental pricing conventions vary by country. Property.net displays prices in the format provided by the listing agent, which typically follows local market norms. In some markets this is weekly, in others monthly or annually. The pricing period is indicated on each listing.
Can I apply for a rental through property.net?+
Property.net connects you with the listing agent, who handles the rental application process directly. Once you find a property you are interested in, contact the agent through the details provided on the listing page to enquire about availability and application requirements.

Listing Your Property

Step-by-step guide to submitting a listing

Can private sellers list properties directly?+
Property.net currently sources listings through partnerships with licensed real estate agencies and agents. If you are a private seller, we recommend engaging a local agent who is listed on our platform. They will handle the listing process and ensure your property reaches the widest possible audience.
What information is required for a listing?+
A complete listing should include the property address, asking price or rental amount, property type, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, floor area, a written description, and high-quality photographs. Additional details such as land size, parking, and features improve visibility and attract more enquiries.
How long does it take for a listing to appear?+
Listings submitted through an integrated data feed typically appear on property.net within 24 hours. The timing depends on when your agency's feed is next synchronised. If a listing has not appeared after 48 hours, contact our agent support team for assistance.

Payments & Plans

Advertising and featured listing options

What are featured listings?+
Featured listings receive priority placement on search results pages and in our curated showcase sections. They are highlighted with a "Featured" badge and appear above standard listings, giving your property significantly more visibility among potential buyers and tenants.
How much does advertising on property.net cost?+
Advertising rates depend on the type of placement, region, and duration. We offer banner advertising, sponsored showcases, and featured listing upgrades. Contact our partnerships team at agents@property.net for a tailored rate card and media kit.
What payment methods are accepted?+
We accept payment by credit card, debit card, and bank transfer for advertising and premium services. All transactions are processed securely. Invoices are issued on a monthly basis for agencies with ongoing advertising agreements.
